Goose Lake

Directions:  From Churdan, go east on state highway 4 until you reach M Avenue on your right (south) side (it's before state highway 4 turns south). Turn onto M Avenue and continue south until you reach county road E26. Look for signs as you should be able to see the lake.

Description:  The following species were seen during the Iowa Breeding Bird Atlas project: (7 High Priority Species): Least Bittern, Black-crowned Night-Heron, Common Moorhen, Black Tern, Black-billed Cuckoo, Grasshopper Sparrow, and Bobolink.
