Directions:  1 mile west of Rockford, in Floyd County.

Description:  In 2001, both Northern Harrier (endangered) and Henslow's Sparrows (threatened)were found here. From the High Conservation Priority list, American Woodcock, Grasshopper Sparrow and Bobolink almost certainly nest here. The habitat is prairie with unique features, including the only known instance of a creeping juniper in the state of Iowa.
