Directions:
From Yale, drive west on county blacktop F25 for about 5 miles.
Description:
This 1286 acre area contains all 5 habitats and is important to many nesting species. Nesting evidence was found for 89 species from the Breeding Bird Atlas. Priority species found included black-billed cuckoo, veery wood thrush, loggerhead shrike, grasshopper sparrow, and bobolink. In more recent years, it appears that broad-winged hawks might nest there, too.
